Siem Reap, Cambodia

Welcome to my world of care, comfort, and connection. 💛

My story is not about big success or fame.
It’s about love... love for my children, love for people, and love for helping others live with dignity.
I believe in honesty, respect, and calm energy, the same values that define Cambodian life.

I began caring for others when I was very young. In Cambodia, family means everything, and we grow up learning to take care of those around us. When my grandmother became ill (she left 10/25) I became her little nurse, helping her eat, stay clean, and smile through pain. I didn’t know it then, but that moment started my life’s calling.

For me, caregiving isn’t just a job, it’s a way to bring kindness, comfort, and trust into people’s everyday lives.

Over the years, I worked as a home health caregiver, assisting the elderly, the sick, and foreign residents who came to live in Siem Reap city. Many were far from home and family, some were lonely so I tried to bring them not just care, but kindness, a familiar voice, a gentle hand, someone who listens.

My days often start before sunrise, preparing food for my children before school, then visiting clients who need help bathing, cooking, taking medicine, or simply talking. Some days are hard. But every “thank you” and every smile reminds me why I do this.

It’s not easy raising four children while working full-time, actually, it's real hard for me but I do it with pride. My dream is to build a small, independent caregiving service that helps both foreigners living in Siem Reap and local families in need and to create stable work for other women like me. That’s why I built DorySida.com... to offer more than just my services.

This website is my first step, my opening to the world late 2025, Next I want to start a blog in 2026, sharing stories with people and use the internet to show the world how their contributions are changing lives.

Every booking, every kind word, every bit of support helps me keep going, for my kids, for my clients, and for a better future.

Thank you for reading my story, and for believing that small acts of care can make a big difference.

I can take care of people at their home. If needed, I can also help find a small, quiet home for them where I take care full-time, but my dream is they can stay with me at my house.

🌿 My Dream...

The Angkor Home of Care

Every evening after finishing my visits, when I go back home through the quiet streets of Siem Reap, I imagine a house filled with light, a place where the elderly and those in need can live surrounded by kindness, laughter, and peace.

That dream has a name: Angkhor.

For me, Angkor means strength, beauty, and the roots of Cambodian compassion. It’s also the name I’ve chosen for my future project "The Angkor Home of Care", a small, family-style home where I can welcome people who need help, comfort, and human connection.

My carreer background, caring for others, visiting people in their homes, cooking for them, helping them move, listen, heal, and sometimes just smile again. But I always dreamed of offering more than temporary care.

I want to build a place that feels like home, a space full of life, good food, plants, children’s laughter, big garden and the quiet dignity that every person deserves. I imagine elderly people sitting under the shade of a tree, sipping tea, hearing the sounds of birds instead of traffic. I imagine volunteers and visitors from around the world coming to share time, skills, and stories.

And I imagine my children growing up seeing that kindness can become a life’s work.

I’ve already taken my first step when I secured the domain name “Angkor”.

It’s a small beginning, but every big dream starts somewhere.

Now, I’m looking for people who believe in my vision.
People who want to help me turn care into a community.

If you feel touched by my story, you can help in many ways:

🌸 Collaborate — share advice, ideas, or partnerships.
🏠 Sponsor or donate — help make the first home possible.
🌿 Mentor or support — guide me through planning, structure, or promotion.
💛 Spread the word — tell others about the Angkor Home of Care.

Together, we can build a place where love lives, where care is sacred, and where Angkor becomes more than a word or a temple but it becomes a home, my home, our home.

Thank you for reading, you are awesome (*if nobody told you today)

I primarily serve Siem Reap city and surrounding areas. For clients farther away, I discuss travel arrangements and additional costs.

I assist elderly people, individuals recovering from surgery, those with limited mobility, foreign residents, and anyone needing compassionate home support.

Yes. For clients who need constant support, I offer overnight or live-in care options so they’re never alone or at risk during the night.

Yes, one of my dreams (Angkhor) is to create a home where clients can live in a peaceful, caring environment under my supervision. I also help find quiet homes or spaces if needed.
